A Fiesta of talent

The talent in San Antonio for the spring game was on a different level than in previous years. The staff put an emphasis on recruiting and the amount of pure athleticism, size and potential in the stands during the scrimmage on Saturday was impressive for a staff still gaining traction inside the state. As of Sunday at 1:00 p.m., UTSA held commitments from four prospects. Two transfers -- tight end Jordan Jones and offensive tackle Jevonte Domond -- and two prep stars -- cornerback Tay'lor Perry and running back Robert McKnight.

Here is a closer look at the commitments.

Tay'lor Perry, cornerback, Crosby

Robert McKnight, running back, Parkway (La.)

Jevonte Domond, offensive tackle, LSU transfer

More talent was on campus like local talents Ashton Smith, Frank Harris, Matthew Huhn, Jayden Jackson, Darren Thomas, Josh Adkins and more. A few new names on the radar emerged, as well.

Damien Daniels, defensive tackle, Bishop Dunne

Toneil Carter, running back, Langham Creek

Mohamed Sanogo, linebacker, Plano West

Lowell Narcisse, athlete, St. James (La.)

UTSA not only hosted dozens of top 2017 talent, but also pulled in some impressive names in the 2018 class. It is still early in the process, but it is clear Wilson and his staff want to establish relationships with potential recruits earlier in the process. Here are some top 2018 talent represented in the Alamodome.

Davin Cotton, defensive tackle, Evangel Christian (La.)

Cameron Jones, safety, Euless Trinity

Justin Rogers, quarterback, Parkway (La.)
